In the 1960s, inventor Paul C. Fisher developed the ‘Universal Cartridge Refill’, which is a sealed and pressurized ink cartridge that can write in any condition. In 1968, the Fisher Space Pen made its debut on the Apollo 7 mission because of its ability to write upside down, in zero-gravity conditions, under extreme temperatures — literally anywhere! Over 50 years later, Fisher Space Pen is still family-owned and is still the pen used on all NASA space flights. It’s even part of the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and made an appearance in an episode of Seinfeld!
This pen refill size is a standard Parker-style cartridge and can be used with any compatible pen (Not sure? Ask us! A large number of ballpoint pens take this cartridge size).
