THE Bullet Space Pen: so iconic, it even lives in the permanent collection at the MoMA. First conceived in 1948, this pen is super portable (3.75" long, when closed) and is Fisher Space Pen's most popular model.
In the 1960s, inventor Paul C. Fisher developed the ‘Universal Cartridge Refill’, which is a sealed and pressurized ink cartridge that can write in any condition. In 1968, the Fisher Space Pen made its debut on the Apollo 7 mission because of its ability to write upside down, in zero-gravity conditions, under extreme temperatures — literally anywhere! Over 50 years later, Fisher Space Pen is still family-owned and is still the pen used on all NASA space flights.
This pen is designed for use with the Fisher Space Pen refill cartridges and comes in a cute moonscape box.
