For the past two years, we've been running a bimonthly book club, which we call the Orchard Street Reading Society in our shop. While the shop is closed, we thought we'd sell our remaining stock of some of the books we've read over the past couple of years:

The People of Paper is a genre-bending work by Mexican writer Salvador Plascencia. Originally published by McSweeney's in 2005, this work of magical realism deals with the oppression and migration of a family made of paper, a dangerous addiction to limes and a war against Saturn.

It's already beloved by a couple of our members and we're already thinking about all of the paper-related activities we can plan for our next meeting (which will be May 6th).
