“America's Original Pen Company", founded in Camden, NJ in 1858 by Richard Esterbrook. These iconic pens were beloved by U.S. Presidents and artists alike until 1971, when Esterbrook went out of business. In 2018, the brand was revived by Kenro Industries, a company of pen experts. Their mission is a noble one: to imagine Esterbrook pens exactly as they would be made in the 21st century, had the original company survived. We think they've done a terrific job of restoring the heritage of such an important American brand.
The Estie is the flagship pen in the Esterbrook line and is made of blended acrylic. Featuring a steel nib in three different nib sizes, this pen can be used with standard international cartridges or with bottled ink. One black ink cartridge and a compatible converter are included with the pen.
