Maybe Swingline is best known for their staplers, but they also make hole punches! We've had a lot of hole punch problems in our shop over the years (yep, we're real office supply nerds), and are thrilled to have found our dream hole punch in this one. It's well designed and comfortable to hold, but the best part is that it requires very little force to punch holes.
Swingline was founded in New York City in 1925 and is credited with inventing the first top-loading stapler, which quickly became the industry standard. Its most popular model, the 747, was introduced in 1968 and is still made to the same specs today!
Fun fact: Swingline’s founder, Jack Linsky, emigrated with his family to New York from northern Russia in 1904. They resided on the Lower East Side, which is where our shop is located, where his father was a fabric salesman and Jack worked at a stationery shop.
