Dragonfly 8900 Pencil - B
This product is currently sold out.
The 8900 was introduced by Tombow in 1945 as the follow up to their first premium pencil, the 8800. More than 100 years, and many new products later, the historic 8900 is Tombow's base-level writing pencil and is of excellent quality for everyday tasks or as an intro to Japanese pencils.
Tombow was founded in Japan by Harunosuke Ogawa in 1913. The brand is widely recognized by their dragonfly logo, as Tombow means 'dragonfly' in Japanese.

We measure the characteristics of the pencils we sell against a General's Semi-Hex #2, which is the pencil we consider to be a good quality pencil of true HB/#2 hardness, similar to that of most American #2 pencils. The swatch in this product listing reflects that.
