A favorite of many pencil enthusiasts, the Grip 2001 won a slew of design awards when it was first introduced in 2001 for its triangular shape and patented Soft-GRIP zone. Little dots speckle the barrel of the pencil so your fingers won't slip and your hand won't feel fatigued while writing for extended periods of time. The pencil is made of Jelutong, a lightweight, easy to sharpen Indonesian wood and its graphite writes smoothly while retaining its point very well.
This particular version features an all-black design and wood that has been dyed to match.
