Typewriter erasers were primarily used in the 50s and 60s for rubbing out marks written on a typewriter. The erasers themselves were often cased in a wood pencil and extra gritty. The eraser on the end is to brush the shavings out of the typewriter. These are a really cool artifact of yesteryear but do be aware the the eraser will be dried up and unusable.

Vintage: Likely 1950s

Made in the USA

Measures 7 inches long

Round barrel

Please note that all vintage pencils may have minor flaws due to age and that you can expect the erasers to not work anymore. The pencil you will receive will not necessarily be the one in the photo but definitely one from the same dozen. We've tried our best to accurately capture the quality of the pencil and promise not to sell you something of lesser quality.
