Over the past few years we've been dreaming up pencils that didn't already exist. Here are six favorites that we've designed and had made just for us by a few of our pencil friends from around the globe.

Moon Products Futura - One of my favorite vintage pencils is the Richard Best Futura, with its many shades of pink, very 1950s typography, and triangular barrel. We worked with Moon Products (who own the rights to the Richard Best) to make a reproduction for the 21st century.

Caran d'Ache Scots Pine - Ever since this pine version of the Swiss Wood made its debut in a set a couple of years ago, I've been begging Caran d'Ache to let me sell them individually in our shop. It's hefty, holds a great point, and is made with wood sourced locally in Switzerland.

Ferrule-less Ferrule Pencil - My favorite feature of early 1900s American-made pencils is the elaborately designed, strangely long brass ferrule, so we made these pencils with Viking to celebrate the early history of the ferrule, printed with modern versions of these historic designs. (Note: the Ferrule-less Ferrule Pencil in your set will be either red, blue or green.)

Caran d'Ache Editor - Since I opened the shop, I've dreamed of the ideal pencil, and here it is: a high-quality, hard-working, double-ended pencil with a good firm graphite on one end and a pigmented red on the other. As a pencil minimalist, it's all I need in my bag everyday.

CWPE #2 Bridge Pencil - Once upon a time, bridge players used skinny pencils to score their games. I'm not exactly sure why, but I do know that they're realllly cute, a handy slender size, and nostalgic. The core is a solid #2 so you can use it for all of your everyday pencil activities, bridge or otherwise.

Baseball Scoring Pencil - Baseball scoring is one of the few activities still done in pencil, and to our surprise, a pencil had never been made specifically for it. In 2018, we debuted this special model, made for us by General Pencil Co., to mark clearly on any scorecard and erase easily.

Each set includes one of each pencil, packaged in an envelope with an informational insert.
