Handmade by Georgia McGovern, Stone Inks is a line of natural inks made from foraged plant materials. these plants and minerals have been used by artists throughout history and are impressively archival. Here's the lowdown on each one:
Black Walnut Iron Ink: A dark brown-ish grey walnut ink with iron gall, which is permanent and waterproof. Made from black walnuts found in Brandon, Vermont.
Beet Ink: A light pink-ish pink made from Vermont beets.
Acorn Ink: A brown-ish grey ink made from shrub oak acorns found in Pipes Canyon, California. Permanent and waterproof when dry.
Black Walnut Ink: A warm brown ink that's permanent and waterproof and made from black walnuts found in Brandon, Vermont.
The Wasps: A very permanent black-brown ink made from wasp galls found on tree leaves. This ink has been used for centuries and is extremely lightfast and archival!
These inks can be used with a drawing nib or a paintbrush. Not recommended for use with fountain pens.
