If you're a vintage paper or snail mail enthusiast, you might recognize this classic style of gummed label. They were made by Dennison and used to come in little cardboard boxes or perforate booklets. We consider them to be one of the holy grail items of vintage letter-writing supplies and are thrilled to offer these packs of assorted labels. Since these contain vintage deadstock, your pack will likely be a little different to the one photographed, but will contain the same quantity of the same types of labels.
Feed the Birdies is a tiny little ephemera shop deep in the heart of Texas. Birdie Curran, owner, has been curating unique papers for over ten years, by scouring estates, antique malls, and flea markets in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Growing up helping her grandma in her fabric shop, The Sewing Box, Birdie remembers being able to write out sales tickets and playing "office" with old notepads and pens at the telephone table. She's always been drawn to paper and writing instruments of all kinds; she always chose those over toys as a kid! She volunteers time and donates stationery to local letter writing events and also provides collage ephemera to the art program on her high school campus (business teacher by day!). She's currently pursuing her life coaching certification, which will bring the dream of owning a store front closer to realization; a place where people gather, create journals and paper projects with a purpose, while building a tribe of friendships. Each piece of ephemera is rescued with a vision of a connection through creativity and purpose, for people AND the paper.
